Heyman Twins | Toddler Family Photo Session

We are still watching them grow…18 months later.

I love these two. Little Man is Mr Personality himself. He is full of smiles and laughs and so enjoys investigating my studio and garden every time he comes to visit.

Little Princess was rather serious the first few times I saw her and I had to work really hard for those smiles. But now…she is happiest itself. She laughs and grins and has an absolute blast. Here are some of my favourites from their latest session. Scroll on down to the bottom to see how much they have grown.

I might just get to see them again on their second birthday. Thank you Alma and Elton… they are precious and I love seeing you all.

Have a great week!

Cocklin Family Photo Session

I really enjoy the Cocklin Family. I get to see little Isla every four months for her Watch Me Grow series and now I got to meet the whole family all the way from the grandparents down to the newest member of the family who was only a few weeks old at the time.

We had to work in relays because my little studio was seriously overcrowded with everyone squeezed into it but we had fun and got some really cutie pie photographs.

As a professional photographer sometimes one tends to think that all our photographs are perfect but the truth is they are not. Sometimes it is not really our 'fault' and other times we do take terrible photographs. This one is one my favourite imperfect photographs. I smile every single time I see it.
The three moms look lovely, all smiles and composed but look closely at the girls. The little newborn was howling, the three year old had found one of my daughters very noisy toys and was no longer interested in photographs and the almost one year old was more interested in what her cousin was up to.
All in all a perfectly imperfect photograph worth keeping!

Thank you for entrusting me Cocklin Family to capture your family.

Have a great week!

Beauty Transformation | Beautiful Claudia

This Beauty TransformationTM has really and truly touched my heart. I honestly cried while editing these photographs; it is still so moving to see how much Claudia has been transformed. She can now say with confidence, " I am beautiful!"

She received her Self Analysis Assignment in December. The Assignment is the start of a Beauty TransformationTM and is a booklet that you get to work through that takes you on a deep emotional journey where you get to ask yourself some pretty hard questions. A loved one also gets to answer some questions about you and as you progress through the various stages you start to see yourself for who you really are; beautiful and worthy of love.
It changes you, your marriage, your relationships with your children and how you see everyone around you.
In a nutshell; it makes you happy!

Claudia found her Assignment to be pretty tough and it really made her dig deep within herself until she finally came to the realisation that she is beautiful. Quite a few emails and Whatsapps went back and forward between the two of us and between Claudia and Jenni who has also been through the process. Many tears were cried; in the beginning ones of anguish and turmoil and at the end ones of joy.
Claudia has done Dressing Your Truth as well and has discovered that she is a Type 1, Bright Animated Woman. She has started to dress to match who she is and feels so much lighter, brighter and happier.

Thank you Claudia for trusting me on this scary and emotional journey. I am really glad that you did because you are altogether beautiful and you deserve to feel good about yourself every single day!

Have a blessed week!

Birthday Party Dress Up Fun Photo Session

What could be more fun than a dress up and photograph party for a deserving 9 year old girl? Pascale's mom had this great idea to use me as the entertainment for her daughter's birthday party. I was really touched. So I got together some dress up items like fancy hats and scarves and the girls also contributed some fun glasses, wigs and dresses. I also have a box of makeup…oooooh… I then set up a fun backdrop in the garden and let the fun begin.

The lovely birthday girl
Definitely a very cute Type 1, Bright and Animated young girl.

And then there were boys!!

The girls then had an outfit change and came back out of some more photographs.
Drinks break before the makeup came out.

After all the dressing up, changing, preening and titivating it was time for a swim.

Thank you, Conny, for thinking of such a great idea and for choosing me to be the photographer. I had huge amounts of fun and I honestly cannot wait for another mom to come up with a party idea.

Have a blessed week!
