Welcome Cyrus | Newborn Photo Session

I looooooove newborn shoots. They are a lot of work but so worth it once the photographs are all done.

Meet little Cyrus at just 10 days old.

Sometimes it can take up to an hour before I even get to take my first photograph. Babies love to wriggle and a little soft wrap can help them settle down to a nice deep sleep.

 Once they are settled they often let you bring their little legs right up under their chins. Notice his little toes just peeking out under his chin.

This is such a cute hat knitted by my best friend's mom. I tried to crochet one (my knitting is rather rudimentary) but it was more of a frustration than a success.

He was not to thrilled with the other poses that follow on after the one above so we moved on to something he was more comfortable with.

 This one below is my favourite.

Zuné | 8 month old baby girl photo session

Ai…this little one is sooooooo cute. I could play with her all day. 
She just loved being photographed. She looked straight at me and smiled, she climbed all over my lap and she pulled faces for her mum and dad. We were all having so much fun that the session whizzed by and I couldn't believe the time when I glanced up at the clock.

Thank you for letting me photograph this very cute time in your daughter's life. I do hope to see her more often because she is just lovely.

Birthday Party Dress Up Fun Photo Session

What could be more fun than a dress up and photograph party for a deserving 9 year old girl? Pascale's mom had this great idea to use me as the entertainment for her daughter's birthday party. I was really touched. So I got together some dress up items like fancy hats and scarves and the girls also contributed some fun glasses, wigs and dresses. I also have a box of makeup…oooooh… I then set up a fun backdrop in the garden and let the fun begin.

Definitely a very cute Type 1, Bright and Animated young girl.

And then there were boys!!

 The girls then had an outfit change and came back out of some more photographs.

Drinks break before the makeup came out.

After all the dressing up, changing, preening and titivating it was time for a swim.

Thank you, Conny, for thinking of such a great idea and for choosing me to be the photographer. I had huge amounts of fun and I honestly cannot wait for another mom to come up with a party idea.

Pedro | Newborn Photo Session

This beautiful couple came all the way from Angola to have their baby and I had the privilege of photographing both their gorgeous maternity session and they really very cute son's newborn session.

They asked that the maternity photographs remain private so I cannot share those with you. I feel that maternity photographs are very personal so if a client does not want to share them I fully respect that.

Little Pedro slept for most of his session. He woke part way through for a good feed and then dropped back to sleep again so I was able to take loads of really cute photographs and I got to use lots of the little hats I've crocheted.
